This blog is for all my friends around the world, past, present, and future.
I hope you can see glimpses of me and find pieces of you as you read it.

Did you think I'd stay away forever?
Read the bottom paragraph before you watch this. If you do not, surely you will be banished to the forest and forced to wear long underwear on your head for a thousand years.
Yoshi! That's what Japanese people say sometimes. I don't know how to translate it, but when you've finished something and feel satisfied with it or when you are getting ready to do something fun or just start doing something, you can say it. It sounds more like "Yosh!" to me, but there is no ending "sh" sound in Japanese, so I guess it's technically "yoshi," but you pronounce it like "yosh" with a strong "o" like the "o" in "open." Speaking of open, I had a can of worms and guess what I did with them. That's right, I put the lid on them. Just kidding. The can of worms was my interest in the ol You-ie, that ol' faithful tube of viewing stuff. I'm talking about your one and only....where this video above is from.
So this is a lake in a place far, far away...from you. But close to me. I assure you, it looks nothing like this right now, but once the snow is gone and the ice has all melted, it will be serene and llllllovely like this once again. This footage is from last summer mostly. Summer lovin.' Summer of 69. What other songs can you think of with the word "summer"? Let's try later. For now, let's sit back and enjoy the show.
Any CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM I am open to. So, yoshi!! Let's go.
