Who Let the Bugs Out?

Okay, so we've gotten to that season of spring, where the cherry blossoms start blooming, the grass starts getting green again, and the weather is decent enough that we can go outside without a down-filled jacket (still need a toque, though. Yes, I am Canadian. It's not a winter hat; it's a toque). But there's one more thing that happens in spring and I'm sure I've mentioned it before: bugs! Bugs happen. Everywhere. All over. Moths, spiders, beetles, and if you're in a really hot or tropical area, probably roaches. I just wasn't ready for it. We were not equipped for battle. We did not know the war was starting so soon.

So what's good in the hood? I certainly hope there's not a spider in my hood. Then what's good in the closet? How can we kill these little punks? For the record, I do not believe in destroying nature or things in it. But when a bug sets foot on the territory designated as my home, in my house, it's go time. I will show no mercy to (insect) trespassers! They are going down.

So to summarize, in a certain way, not looking forward to spring. Nonetheless, I will say I am grateful to be in the North where cockroaches and the like rarely roam. As for anything else with more than two eyes or more than four legs or antennas who come trampling on our turf, let's suit up and take 'em down. It's the only way we can win.

You may already know this, but...below these words lies a picture:
I guess spring is not ALL bad. Just remember the spray!
