I think I got bored reading my own post. It's like that episode of Corner Gas called "Blog River." Hank starts writing a blog and no-one reads it. Slowly going the way of the buffalo is like slowly going the way of the blog. If you want people to read your stuff, you're supposed to add gossip and stuff about all the stars, right? On that note, how many people think the Beebs is a decent fellow and how many think he's gotten a little too caught up in fame? I'm merely asking.
Personal talk time. Life is a gift, isn't it? We forgot too often. We forget every day. We get sick, sometimes really sick. Then we recover and we say "I'm never doing that again" or "I sure do appreciate being healthy" and then a week later, we complain about the weather or how so-and-so was a jerk the other day. We go back to eating junk food. It's in our nature to forget these things quickly, isn't it?
This is just a reminder to myself and the many few who are reading this to take time and appreciate what's around, what we have. To consider healthy living as a lifestyle choice rather than an emergency response. Exercise. Stretch. Go outside and walk around. Enjoy nature. Count our blessings.Ue o muitte! Look up to the sky. Remember what the moon and stars and sun and clouds look like. Hear the sounds of the rivers and creeks, ocean and lakes.
Just a reminder. But we'll soon forget, won't we?
